The Canavan Foundation has not evaluated, nor do we recommend, individual laboratories. We encourage you to first consult your physician/genetic counselor, if possible, who will then contact the appropriate laboratory for further information and to make arrangements on your behalf. If there is no site near you, your doctor can arrange to send blood samples by mail to be analyzed elsewhere.
